A new study by real estate group, SmartAsset, has ranked Durham, NC has the sixth healthiest housing market in the entire country and number 1 in North Carolina.

The study looked at factors including stability, affordability, fluidity, and risk of loss. In the study it found that home owners stay in their homes for about 11 years with nearby Raleigh at a little less than 11 years.
