Amazon will invest $200M on the former ConAgra site in Garner and bring over 1,500 new jobs. The facility will be a four-story, 2.6 million-square foot distribution center on Jones Sausage Road. When finished, the facility will be the largest employer in Garner with a total payroll of $45 million. The town of Gary will add $600,000 and the NC DOT will spend $4.5 million to make improvements to Jones Sausage Road to handle the additional heavy traffic.
